Two BOOKS: “History of the Batswana” by Dr. P.L. Breutz, first edition, 1989, signed, dated and inscribed by the author, hardcover with acetate dust jacket, 521 text pages plus forward and section for 'notes' at rear, Genealogical tables, 7 maps, this book was directly sold by the author, corner bump top front, minor rubbing at head and foot spine; “Gray's Elegy, an Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard”, the artists edition, by Thomas Gray, Philadelphia: J.B. Lippincott & Co, 1884, hardcover, sea-green cloth with gold, silver and red decorations on the front board and spine, all edges gilt, illustrated by a frontispiece and 21 additional engravings of various artist's work throughout the text, several blank pages both before and after the text, spotting inside covers and affecting 2 front and rear end papers, one spot each to frontispiece and title page, slight wear too boards and top / bottom of spine, an exceptional copy for this edition.
