A Napoleon III ormolu-mounted cut brass-inlaid Tortoiseshell BOULLE AND EBONY BREAKFRONT SIDE CABINET with black slate top by Maison Vedder, Paris, mid 19thC, the centre door with raised panel of Cherubs at play and, when opened, reveals the vertical brass plate signed “Vedder Paris”, the canted sides with Cherub busts, the whole is 147cm wide, please inspect - minor damage to some of the cut brass work. NB: Prospective buyers are advised that various countries prohibit the importation of property / assets containing tortoiseshell and are, therefore, advised to familiarize themselves with the relevant customs regulations prior to bidding if they intend to import / export this lot into another country.
